I want to wish everybody a happy new year.
This is going to be my last post for 2008.
2008 was a very tough year full of ups and downs.
Anyway 2009 will be great ALLAH willing.

I'm a currently a graduate student working towards my doctorate. Here, I will be writing about the my experiences as I undertake this journey, which mostly be rants, memes and silly cat videos. Man. United V Boro 12/26/08
It is really becoming a worry for United missing a lot of chances to score.
In this match United had over 20 shots on goal and could not score.
But overall the team performed well especially the changed defence.
Since this is the last match in 2008, winning it gives the players confidence.
2008 was a great year for Manchester United.
We were crowned English, European, and World club Champions.
Congrats to all the fans.
We will do it again in 2009.

Man. United V Stoke 12/26/08
The effects of the trip to Japan showed in this match. Stoke were also very physical resulting in a red card for Wilkinson. Tevez Goal was exceptional and Baba's assist was classic. Ver der sa made excellent saves. Overall the team played excellent.
One gone more to follow-Guinea's Lansana Conte
I write this piece with a very heavy heart full of worry for the motherland. Today Lansana Conte, now former president of Guinea died, May he rest in peace. He has been president for 24 years and now his death created a power vacuum in his country. There has been reports of a coup and there seems to be chaos in the that country. This can prove to be very dangerous to the stability of the region. All these problems could have been avoided if he stepped down earlier on. So please African Dictators, I beg, step down!!!!!!!
Man. United V LDU Quito-Fifa World Club Cup
Man United are the champions of the world, courtesy of a Rooney brilliant goal. The only low of the game was Vidic's red card. Despite the jet lag, United showed they are real champs. Congrats to all Man U fans. We did it again.

All I will say about this match: 16 minutes of amazing football, it all started when Rooney was introduced. Six goals were scored in the last 16 minutes of the game.
This match broke the record for the highest numbers of goals scored in a match in this tournament.
Sir Alex squad selection was very strong in the midfield with Giggs, Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson and Scholes all starting. This helped to keep the Japanese at bay. Vidic was impressive with his goal and in the match overall, he is my man of the match.

This match was the battle of the two great masterminds of English football. The match was very exciting and it was nonstop action from start to finish even though no goals was scored. United were missing Evra and Rooney through suspension. The match was Berbatov's first return to whitehart lane after his summer move to United. Harry did put up a great squad but Sir Alex outmastered him. Overall both teams decerved a point based on their performances.
Akon Africa's Finest
Akon is one of the best hip hop artists of all time. He has dropped three albums already, the latest one "Freedom" which came out December 2 has already sold over 300000 copies. Having African Roots, Akon has joined other chart topping hip hop artists with African Roots like Chamillionaire. Akon has appeared in over 100 collaborations with other artists. To me Akon stands out as an African Ambassador, he sings about African and her people in his songs.

This game produced excellent goals by Tevez and Rooney.
Aalborg were brilliant even thought Sir Alex fielded a weak team.
However Man U has finished first in their group, good news.
The first team players had a deserved rest ahead of the game with spurs.
Youngsters Evans, Da Silva, Gibson, and Nani showed their value.
Overall Good performance especially in the second half.

First of all, I hope none of the caretakers coaches of Sunderland not be appointed to be coaches at any club. How can eleven players be defenders at the same time? Awful.
United should have been up 3 goals or more by halftime.
Ronaldo's behavior of working off the pitch cannot be tolerated, Alex should have a talk with him.
Vidic's Goal was timely, defenders can also win games.
Overall excellent performance.

Prison Break
Prison break is one of my favorite shows on television.
But the show is becoming repetitive.
Season 1 was planning the escape from Fox River. That season was very enjoying.
Season 2 and 3, Scofield and Co. were and the run.
Now in season 4, they should be on the offensive instead of the defense.
When will they have the chance to payback.
Am getting a little pissed here.

Man U's game today had a lot of goals.
It ended 5-3 in favor of Man U.
Tevez scored 4 goals. I guess he is trying to cement his place in the squad.
Sir Alex will have to sign him permanently after this performance.
The young bloods like possebon and rafael are also flourishing.
But Manucho the angolan needs more playing time.
